Chiropractic Care For Sports Injuries:
Nick Gondzioulis is a Sports Chiropractor. This area of chiropractic care includes improving sports performance, sports injury rehabilitation, and also sports injury prevention. Nick has completed postgraduate studies in this field and is a member of Sports Chiropractic Australia (SCA) and the International Federation of Sports Chiropractic (FICS).
Nick’s involvement with a large variety of sports and sporting events in Canberra has been ongoing for many years. These include Judo, Rugby League, Football (Soccer), Cycling, Triathlon, Rally Driving, and Roller Derby.
Internationally, Nick has travelled to the All African Games in Zimbabwe, Africa in 1995 and the pre-Atlanta Olympics training camp in the USA in 1996. Nick was invited to look after the Brazilian Olympic team for the Sydney 2000 Olympics. The team was in Canberra at the AIS.
Nick has had the opportunity to treat Olympic athletes from all fields of competition. This included track and field, swimming, weight lifting, boxing, and gymnastics.
Furthermore, Nick has also worked with “The Spirit of the Dance” dancers while they were performing in Canberra.
In addition to professional sportspeople, in practice, Nick often sees the weekend warrior. Sportsmen, women, and children need help for everyday injuries that occur during sports participation. Injuries that may occur in a range of team sports, while out jogging or while training in a fitness centre.
